Hi! I'm Tori Chen. I currently work at Indeed as an UX designer based in Tokyo, Japan. My daily job includes finding problems, creating design solutions, and making life easier for our users. I have experience on various products and platforms from UGC websites, mobile app, OS, to smart tv.

  • Incorporate UGC content (company reviews, ratings, salary info, micro-content) to main company product of 200M unique users per month.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative approaches to measure and iterate design.
  • Work closely with global design team, PM, developer, QA to deliver and implement design in agile development environment.
  • Deliver low to high fidelity prototype, design proposal, and spec based on release timeline and project needs.
  • Collaborate with ux researcher and conduct various research studies including moderated, unmoderated, exploratory study, usability tests, etc.

  • Responsible for Firefox for Android (1 billion+ downloads, 25M+ MAU)
  • Engagement from feature concept to launch; including ideation, wireframing, A/B testing, and usability testing
  • Use quantitative and qualitative approaches to measure and improve the design by collaborating closely with user researchers and data engineers.
  • Apply different design methods into project based on the scope and the release timeline.

  • Design user experience for Firefox OS smart TV apps (homescreen navigation, browser, building block, remote control, marketplace, etc).
  • Engagement from feature concept to launch; including creating ideas, wireframes, prototypes, and specs.
  • Work closely with global design team, PM, developer, business partners to deliver uncompromised user experience based on release timeline.
  • Conduct user testing and participate in user research, analyze data to identify issues and find effective design solutions.
